At Qinshift we help companies and organizations in becoming sustainable data-driven businesses. We do this by delivering technology and strategy implementations. We purposely choose projects that make an impact, both for our customers, our partners and for society. Our primary focus are companies within Healthcare, Real Estate and Public Transport.
Our way of working is mainly in team deliveries. We consider ourselves a community of strategy and technology craftspeople and we value our team efforts highly. We use platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Dynamics 365, Qlik, and Power BI, to name a few. Regarding our custom development deliveries, we primarily work with C#, .NET, React and Vue.

THIS IS THE JOB
As the Head of Discipline Development, you will create the strategy for the long-term growth regarding both capacity and competence within your discipline so that it goes along with the organizations business needs. To do this you will cooperate with different Head of Disciplines, Discipline Leads and Delivery units to establish processes and policies for the organization as a whole. You will also work closely to the Sales organization and different Business units to make sure that we’re going after the correct opportunities and helping out in understanding, and later on, preparing the technical parts of the offer.
You’ll work to create a community where the members feel a sense of belonging and an atmosphere where competence sharing is a natural part of the colleagues day-to-day. You will work with career development and organize different trainings and events that will benefit the Discipline and the members therein. You’re responsible for implementing and tailor our Onboarding and an internal Mentoring process to make sure that new and current employees receive a personal career development.
Acting as a role model you’ll make sure that the Discipline stays á jour with the latest trends and technologies that’s best suited for the task at hand – with both quality and productivity in mind. You’ll be a facilitator in both technical and general decisions that needs to be made.
THIS IS YOU
To succeed as a Head of Discipline within Development, we believe that you have an extensive background within the field of software development to be able to help and guide your team members. You’re well versed in the different technologies, best practices, and overall know-how in which the team members are working with. With this knowledge you will create a technical roadmap to make sure that we as a company are on the right technical journey.
You thrive in a collaborative role where you’re able to work strategically regarding both the competence and capacity development within the organization. We believe that you find it fulfilling to work alongside different functions within the company. For example to support Sales in acquiring new clients and opportunities by contributing in a technical pre-sale.
You’re experienced in the consulting role and consider yourself being versatile regarding different technologies, agile methods, and technical solutions. With a genuine interest in technology, you help your team members evolve within their competence development and making the right technical decisions. You consider yourself a highly communicative and flexible individual who are able to create long-lasting relationships built on trust.
For this role you need to be fluent in English both spoken and written, it’s also a plus if you’re comfortable in Swedish, both spoken and written.
