THIS IS THE JOB

Our ultimate company goal is to help our clients to become data-driven. As a Power BI developer at Stratiteq you will work close to our clients and quickly adapt to their needs. There’s a big focus on taking the data and presenting this to the clients in a visual appealing way. It’s not only about how you build different rapports or models, but rather about how you work with the data storytelling.

You’ll be working with integration towards traditional data warehouses and data lakes, but also directly from the source systems and thereafter visualising the data with Power BI.

You should know how to handle data and how to share it with the user, inside the organisation but also to external stakeholders. It’s not only about building different rapports but also how the data is consumed by the user. Therefore, there’s a plus if you have an interest in the visual part of the presentation as well.

For this role we believe you are a creative and analytic person who uses your knowledge and engineering skills to create business value. Your ability to transform data and statistics into a strategic way of thinking is the key. We are looking for passionate people, as we believe that if you have a passion for your craft, you can learn the skills.

You probably have an educational background, Master or Bachelor´s degree within a suitable area such as engineering, science or finance. Alternatively, a comparable industry career with significant experience in analytics.

Your skills

- Hands on experience from working with Power BI and DAX

- Knowledge of the Power BI suite and offerings

- Experienced in Azure

- Have worked with/have an interest in Big Data and Data Lakes

- Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with others

- Comfortable in English and Swedish both spoken and written

- Experience in working with SQL, Python and/or R

- Comfortable in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It’s a plus if you have an interest in the visualisation of the data and data storytelling. Also, if you have experience in working with SSAS.
